Think About Common Food Allergens

Cut Out These Foods

Evaluate How You Feel

Once you've reintroduced certain foods, you need to evaluate how you're feeling after eating. It can be effective to log your observations in a diary so that you can remember them. For example, if you don't have a sensitivity to gluten, you'll likely feel as you did after eating your healthy diet of veggies and protein. However, if you are allergic to gluten to some degree, you might feel bloated, tired, or even notice that your skin is flushed. You can continue this pattern with a list of common allergens, and you'll ideally get an idea of what foods might pose a problem for you. You can then focus your allergy testing on these things.
